I read with sorrow of the story of Mr. Gooter, his tragic accident, his journey, his apparent dream to make the journey, his involvement in the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church and I must say, he was following his dream and that is consolation at a time of grief and sorrow. He gives us all hope and inspiration that we should never give up on on dreams and that we should love our family and our friends and take advantage of every opportunity to inspire others.

Mets playing great. Chase had 3 hits and no outs. Braxton, Steph, Chris, and Becky were watching,

Weather was slight wind with mist, sort of chilly.

Sat practice at Daph Elem School, Mar 13, 2010

Becky and I were told that practice was at 1145am. I kept saying it was at 11am. and when we arrived, the boys had started at 11am, Chase and Braxton arrived at 1130am. Steph was working so Becky entertained Braxton.

He kept wanting to practice wtih the big boys so Becky took him to the playground, then all around the school.

Practice ended and Becky and Braxton were nowhere to be found, I finally found them at the front of the school at the tiny playground. Chris took the boys home and Braxton's head was hit by the car door when Chase closed it.... He probably has a big blue knot on his forehead this morning. (SUN).

2010, Feb, First Day of Chase's ball practice

Chris and Chase were already practicing with about 3 other kids when I arrived at about 1145am at the field behind Daphne Elem North. Becky was visiting her mother and Linda in Mobile.

Chase had the most experience of all the kids, one only 3 about to turn 4 on April 3rd (coach's son) and one who said he was 7 (hummm not sure if he was telling the truth ?).

Only took a couple of pictures from a distance. Chase is on the far right in this one.
